1. Change
your mind: Can you think of a time when you changed your mind
at the last minute? What happened? Did you regret your decision or was it a
good choice?
2. Blow your mind: Example:
"The special effects in that movie will blow your mind!" What
is the most mind-blowing thing you have ever seen or experienced? Was it
something you saw, heard, or did?
3. Cross someone's mind:
Example: "It never crossed my mind that she might be lying." Can
you think of something strange or silly that crossed your mind recently? Why
did you think about it?
4. Speak your mind:
Example: "He's never afraid to speak his mind, no matter the
situation." Do you find it easy or hard to speak your mind? Why or why
not?
5. Mind your own business:
Example: "When they started arguing, I decided to mind my own
business." Have you ever had a moment when you wanted to tell someone
to "mind their own business"?
6. Out of sight, out of mind:
Example: "I put the book away on a high shelf, and it became a case of
out of sight, out of mind." Is there something you forget about when
it is "out of sight"?
7. Peace of mind: Example:
"Knowing that my family is safe gives me peace of mind." What
gives you peace of mind? Why does it make you feel calm?
8. Mind exercises: How do you exercise your brain? Do you play games,
solve puzzles, or try to learn new things?
